"The Grand Assemblage from bodega Anaia offers a harmonious balance of Malbec and Cabernet that is uber decadent, stacked with scrumptious tannin, and yet incredibly inviting. I almost feel this is to Mendoza what a Super Tuscan is to Tuscany. The resulting wine is full and marked my aromas of cocoa, cassis, bell pepper, fresh herbs, cigar box, wild raspberries and tyme. The texture is layered, chewy, and velvety and leads to an exceptionally long finish which pleasantly lingers, inviting the next sip. A deserving partner for a meal of marinated flank steak, grilled mushrooms, and corn on the cob."
