"100% Malbec. The Vincent Caillet Cot is the Loire rendition of this Argentine rockstar. Few realize though that Malbec originally hails form the South of France from where it migrated to Bordeaux and eventually the Loire. Caille's rendition doesn't lack concentration but drinks extremely light on its feet compared to its Argentine counterparts. Nostalgic for me: this wine is always marked by petrichor -- that's the smell of rain when it begins to fall on hot asphault. Certified Organic. Biodynamic."
