"A stunning capture from Santa Ynez Valley--the Roman Ceremony Sauvignon Blanc is a small project spearheaded by the Railsback brothers, Eric and Lyle. This is dry, crisp Sauvignon Blanc--dignified with all the hallmarks of good French Sauvignon Blanc. The wine in the bottle falls somewhere between Bordeaux Blanc and Sancerre in taste and feel: clean, finely delineated citrus, lemon oil, lime, and the subtle essence of wild flowers accompany its delicate creamy structure. The Sauvignon Blanc vine material used to make this wine was originally sourced from the great Chateau d’Yquem which is pretty freaking cool. The perfect partner for mussels, arugula salad, lobster salad, crab cakes, or chicken couscous."
