"Burgundy? California? Yes to both. On the nose, ripe green apple and nectarine show first, with lemon peel, wild flowers, and herbs just behind. Creamy and buttery, for sure, but still beautifully delicate. On the palate, an explosion of bright fresh acidity gives way first to full yet subtle richness, then to a long, complex finish replete with sweet cream butter and stony mineral.
