"This is a very rare bird. Still white wine made from the Pinot Meunier grape variety in the epicenter of Champagne. Let me reitterate--no bubbles here (think white burg, but different). I'm sure it's been done before but I've never seen one before. Lelarge Pugeot is crunchy in all the right ways--farming organically with the same love and care that is brought to a well made sandwich and bottling with little or no SO2. The end result is creamy and fresh--driven by the flavors of yellow apple, peaches, and baby white strawberries, all accompanied by a pulverized chalky mineral bliss. Pair it with Chillean Sea Bass, foie gras, or pig roast."
