"An old favorite from Domaine de Fenouillet--NOT to be confused with Muscat de Beaumes de Venis--the luscious fortified that comes from the same region--this red wine is a harmonious blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah, 10% Mourveedre. This cocktail shows very differently than your average Cotes du Rhone with 80% Grenache--this is vinous, dark-fruited, and savory--marked with distinct aspects of smoke, black olive tapenade, cassis, and garrigue. A flawless accompaniment to roasted and grilled meats--especially lamb. Aged for 18 months in concrete tanks. 2500 cases produced annually. Harvested by hand. Certified organic since 2012 and practicing biodynamic."
