"Domaine Henri Pelle is a benchmark. The finest in the village. There is no other way around it. The domain's greatness is largely a result of the late Henri who was the driving force behind the inception of Menetou-Salon: lobbying for the necessity of an AOC and drawing up the appellation itself. Stupidly delicious! Mouthwatering. Soulful. I don't know how a pink wine can be so delicate and yet so packed with flavor. Bone dry. A perfect balance of elegant red berry fruit, white citrus, delicate mineral, and Pinot spice. Bits of earth around the edges add complexity and authenticity. Certainly one of the finest pink wines of the vintage."
