"In the heart of the Loire Valley The Plaisantin family farms 15 Hectares, certified organic. This is 100% Cab Franc, harvested lovingly by hand and fermented using strictly ambient yeast. The resulting wine is just textbook: an amalgamation of crunchy cassis, roasted herbs and a whisper of green bell pepper. Besides its organic upbringing, the Dolmen Chinon is bottled with next to no added sulfites (just 10-20 parts per million). The Dolmen is built to be accessible in its very youth and offers unparalleled versatility at the table. Fire-roasted meats and vegetables are the first thing to come to mind, but this style of Cab Franc is soft enough to be paired even with grilled salmon, shark, and swordfish."
