"The Altitudes Ixsir is a white wine blend from Lebanon. Altitudes sources grapes from all over Lebanon, from the north to the south. This bottling is produced from the aromatic power trio: Obeideh, Muscat, Viognier. Although Obeideh isn't known as well internationally as its counterparts here--this is the indigenous backbone of Lebanese whites and an essential component in Chateau Musar (the benchmark of all Lebanese Whites). Along with Viognier and Muscat--this might sound like quite a cocktail of aroma, it is, but it's more restrained than you might think: lemon, limes, pear, and a touch of melon combine with subtle wafts of wild flowers and cherry blossom. A happy pairing for monkfish, carp fillet and morrels, Pad Tai, and butter chicken."
