An exquisite 12 year old blended Japanese whisky. Hibiki includes malt whisky from Yamazaki and Hakushu, as well as grain whisky from Chita. The whisky is partly matured in plum liqueur barrels.
Tasting Notes: Blossoming and exuberant: A dazzling, echoing roundness. Color: shiny amber. Nose: Rose, lychee, hint of rosemary and mature woodiness/sandal wood. Palate: Honey like sweetness, candied orange peel, and white chocolate. Finish: Subtle and tender, hint of Mizunara oak.
