"This gem comes to us from the Wagram region of Austria where Domaine Ott produces some of the most expressive, soulful, and mouthwateringly thirst-quenching examples of Gruner Veltliner I’ve ever tasted. The Am Berg is the estate’s entry level cuvee, 'am berg' meaning 'from the mountain.' This wine is just lovely in every vintage; it is the perfect combination of complexity, crushability, and luxurious pillowy minerality. It’s all supported by a delicate crunchy fruit profile that’s hard to pin down — perhaps pear, bitter lemon, and cream. One thing is for sure though, this is one of the best vintages ever made. Organic and Biodynamic — good for you and good for the soul."
