"A precious Sicilian specialty-Frappato is prized for its mild tannin, bight flavors, and vibrant acidity. This example is pretty exceptional. The first time we tasted it I said to Mitch ‘on aroma alone I’d guess that this is an Alsatian White’-rich peaches, apricots, sweet spice, wild flowers, and stone jump from the glass. It's not common to find a red wine that’s this extremely aromatic. It reminds me of great dry Muscat-floral and thirst quenching. On the palate it carries a bight acidity and moderate tannins. Pair it with cured meats, cow’s milk cheeses, roasted chicken, and game."
