"On the nose, deep, ripe cherry, juicy fresh pomegranate, and cranberry are the stars of the show, supported by dried autumn leaves and wet crushed stone. A sip reveals the same fruits, but instead of juicy and ripe, they are tart and zingy; accompanied by the same leafy earthiness, and an even more pronounced stony mineral. The finish reveals mellow tannin that just barely lingers. This wine is just barely beginning to scratch the surface of its potential, and it's already a showstopper."
