"Located in the the village of Nierstein in the region of Rheinhessen--St. Anthony is producing some of the most sprightly, mineral-charged whites in all the region. St. Anthony has taken over the former historic and legendary Heyl Zu Herrensheim. Although Riesling is the bread and butter of the lineup, their Weissburgunder is a total delight. Weissburgunder=Pinot Blanc. The finished wine is clean and crisp, driven by notes of green apple, fresh cream, white tea, and a distinct and flavorful pillowy minerality. This finish is long and clingy. A flawless accompaniment for river fish, roast chicken, cold pasta salad, and gnocchi."
