"The 2014 Donny Pinot Brut follows in the footsteps of the 2013 -- this is simply outstanding sparkling wine that stands head to head with great grower Champagne. Tightly wound citrus is laced with stony minerality, salinity, and the most delicate yeastiness. Frankly, I'd be hard-pressed to distinguish this from the classiest of the Montagne de Reims. Only a miniscule quanity was produced -- 1400 bottles or so. Ancona's was lucky to score 12 bottles."
