"Roche Audran is first and foremost a Chateauneuf du Pape producer, and we've had the pleasure of selling the Roche Audran Chateauneuf for years now, thus it's thrilling to finally see a white wine from this Domaine, and even more thrilling because the wine is mouthwateringly delicious. To be frank, white wine from the Rhone can sometimes be clumsy and awkward, however when it's good, it's really good. This rendition is produced from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Clairette, and Bourboulenc, and comes out airy and light on its feet, offering generous layers of ripe yellow fruits and slaty fine-grained mineral. In the 90s Vincent's daughter became sick from pesticides, informing a prompt conversion to holistic methods. Roche Audran is now Certified Organic and Demeter-Certified Biodynamic."
