"Calling all Chateauneuf, Gigondas, and Sablet lovers! Rasteau is perhaps the single greatest real sleeper in the line that makes up the Cotes du Rhone Villages. This bottling is composed of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre. The vines are farmed 'Lutte Raisonee,' meaning that chemical treatments are avoided. In the hands of this family-run domain, these grapes yield a firm and balanced terroir wine--packed with flavors of wild strawberry, raspberries, herbs de Provence and 'garrigue' as they say locally (piney scrub herbs). Wonderfully approachable already, the wine at should excel for the next decade. Pair it up with roasted meats with some herbs tossed in there."
