"Organic, Biodynamic and with No added Sulphur/sulfites/SO2—this is quintessential Vin de France, Vin de Soif—meaning “wine for thirst”, wine for drinking. Although this harvest technically hails from the “Minervois”, our favorite cheap and cheerful appellation in the Launguedoc Rousillon of Southern France (home of Sentinelle de Massiac and Petit Canet)—this bottling is declassified and branded “Cherries and Rainbows”. What’s not to love? This is clean, crisp, bright and light on its feet—driven by crunchy black fruit (indeed, black cherries), fig, a whisper piney wild herbs, black olive, and a stony mineral finish. Pair it up with anything from BBQ pork chops to Andalusian Gazpacho Soup. Cheers to a wine made properly without additives—and in combination with a very modest alcohol content that means good for your head in the morning."
