"Warm, ripe strawberries and blackberries, scented with dried woody herbs and a touch of cola in front of leathery, dusty earth and crushed gravel. Medium bodied and juicy on the palate, with cured black olives, toasted cracked pepper, and savory umami showing at the edges. Tannins are young but balanced and restrained. Ripe, yet fresh, this Minervois offering would be at home with so many dishes; charcuterie, burgers, roasted vegetables, stews, or whatever you've grilled. A perfectly versatile "house red" that I'd pour just as happily on a Tuesday night as I would for a dinner guest."
