"A Rhone Blanc kinda blend: Picpoul, Clairette and beyond. The wine is made by Chris Brockway in Berkley (just down the street from our friends at Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant!). The “Love”-branded wines represent Chris’ effort to bring delicious, wholesome wines to the market at a weeknight kinda price point. Nothing is added--including nutrients, yeast, bacteria, enzymes, tannins or additional fermentation agents. The finished wine is bottled with little or no S02 (sulfur dioxide/sulfites/sulfur/watchyawant). Aromas of citrus, fresh herbs, and a distinct salinity bring this wine character and soul. Besides being a health-conscious choice--the end result is ridiculously crushable and an incredibly versatile white to bring to the table, though definitely an especially nice choice for sushi and sashimi."
