Aromas of crisp apple and pear, fresh lemon and lime peel, and tart, just-ripe tropical fruit are layered with fresh cream and steely mineral. On the palate, the fruit is once again the star of the show, accompanied by delicately toasted, caramelly spice, creamy texture, and a mouthwatering finish. Significantly more layered and richly intense than similarly priced Maconnais offerings, the Cuvee Speciale is both easy-drinking and immensely satisfying.
