Our latest barrel comes to us from the good folks at W.L. Weller. W.L. Weller is known for producing sensational small-batch bourbon. Their reputation is impeccable. Usually, we see less than a case of this stuff a year. It’s not for the lack of trying, it’s because the W.L. Weller line is allocated. So, when Harry’s presented us with the opportunity to go halve-sies on a barrel, there was no way we were going to say no.
After tasting a handful of samples we landed on this spectacular selection.
Ancona's and Harry's have a lot in common. Aside from the owners being ridiculously handsome, each store has been around for over three generations. That’s 75+ years of providing the community with craft spirits, artisianal wines and outstanding customer service. Old Weller Antique 107 is a whiskey that both Ancona’s and Harry’s are proud to have on their shelves. It is an incredibly smooth wheated bourbon that is bottled at 107 proof - hence the ’107’ in the name.
There are less than 100 bottles at each store. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Old Weller Antique 107 Private Barrel Bourbon hits our shelves on Saturday, December 2 at 9:30AM. You can visit Ancona’s Wines in Ridgefield or Harry’s in Fairfield to get your hands on one. It's a steal at $34.99/bottle. No online orders. Limit one per customer.
