Gavi di Gavi, made from the Cortese, grape is one of Italy's finest and classic white wines. The Gavi DOCG zone is located in the southeastern part of Italy's Piedmont region. This wine is produced from Cortese grapes grown in the villages of Gavi and Novi Ligure at the Langa’s estates owned and operated by the Manfredi family. Giuseppe transformed his small farm into a modern and productive winery. Today his son, Luigi and Aldo, with their families manage the wine-cellar where they combine modern technologies and traditional wine making. It has a pale straw-yellow color with green inflections. The aromas are soft, floral and fruity and the flavors are dry, pleasant, and well-balanced. An excellent wine as an aperitif or with fish and pasta dishes.
