You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing your order you have represented to
Ancona's Wines & Liquors that you are at least 21. All alcohol delivered must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age.
We offer several shipping options:
- Ground Service - approximately 2-7 business days in transit
- 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
- Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit
- Local Delivery (We make deliveries (FREE with a $200 minimum wine purchase) to the towns of: Redding, Ridgefield, Wilton and Weston.
- In store pick up (Free)
We cannot guarantee that orders will ship out the same day
that the order is placed. Neither FEDEX or UPS picks up on Saturday or Sunday, or placed on Friday might not ship until the following Monday and on rare occasions, Tuesday or Wednesday.
An email will immediately acknowledge receipt of your order, while a second email will confirm your order
has been processed and is prepared for shipment. We will contact you as soon as possible if
there is any problem with your order. Orders placed on this website are not final.
Your credit card is not charged automatically. A charge is put on your credit card after the product has
been packed and the order is deemed complete. Please note that all credit cards are verified, you have to
provide a billing address that corresponds to the credit card you are using.
If the billing address does not match the credit card you will be informed and the order will not be processed
until we hear from you. While we make every effort to show accurate product listings on our website, Ancona's
Wines & Liquors is not responsible for typographical, pricing errors, and omissions. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note that your shipping costs are estimated and may vary slightly. We try our best to keep shipping costs reasonable. Included in the
total cost are packaging materials, labor costs of preparing the
item(s) for shipping, carrier fees and fuel surcharges, plus the
carrier’s additional, mandatory “signature fee.” By law, delivery of
alcohol requires an adult signature upon receipt. Finally, insurance
fees are added for your security.
Disclaimer for Shipping:
All purchases are packed and shipped in carrier approved containers
made for shipping wine. They are a strong and safe way to ship bottles of wine.
Wines that come in OWC (original wooden cases) will not be shipped in wood. Consumers may request the wooden case to be
shipped separately with their order at an extra nominal expense (i.e.: to CA from CT- $9).
Wines that come in OCC (original cardboard cases) will not be shipped with the original case. Those can also be
requested to be shipped separately, also for a nominal expense (i.e.: to CA from CT- $5).
Federal Express (FedEx) and UPS are our carriers of choice for their value, expediency, and efficiency. We do however,
for safety's sake, apply insurance to every package that leaves our store. This insurance fee is calculated into
the shipping prices we charge.
In the event of breakage or loss of parcel, a complete refund will be made to the purchaser, which will include
the price paid for the wine, as well as the complete shipping cost and any applicable taxes. See our FAQ section for our return policy.
Many states restrict the shipment of wine. Please accept our apologies if we are unable to ship to your area.
Deliveries to the following states are limited to wine accessories only: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia.
